Congratulations to Coach Pearson the Lady Chiefs softball team. They are participating in the Southwest Shootout in Sterling. Our ladies took down two Class 3A teams last night beating Comanche 9-6 and winning a late night thriller against Lindsay 5-4. They are at it again today as they take on Class A #8 ranked Binger-Oney at 1:00 p.m. Best of luck!

Chief Fans!! A new football season is here and we are very excited for our first home high school game tomorrow night against Buffalo. Just a couple of reminders ahead of tomorrows game. The entrance for the game will be will be on Locust by the old elementary school. The parking around the stadium on the home side is reserved and has the names of those that reserved that spot. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed on school premises. Due to liability, the little football games that happen on the north end by the concession stand will not be allowed. We appreciate your cooperation as our boys look to go 2-0 against the Bison. "Once a Chief...."

Parents/Guardians: We've been informed that tomorrow around pickup time there will be a graveside service at the cemetery in Waukomis. We ask for your patience as it could get quite congested especially on Wood Road. We will do our best to get your child/children to you as soon as possible while being as respectful as we possibly can. If we receive further information we will pass that on to you.
School board applications for vacant seat #1 will be accepted until the end of the school day this Friday, August 23. Applications can be picked up in the elementary office. Please reach out to Mr. Husted if you have any questions.
